Tapsosa demands urgent action over private security fund mismanagement

# The Association of Private Security Owners of South Africa has condemned corruption, criminality, and governance failures in the Private Security Sector Provident Fund, citing illegal tenders, bribery, nepotism, and mismanagement of around 14-billion-rand. Tapsosa warns this threatens workers’ retirement and funeral benefits. The association has lodged a complaint with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority and urges the Special Investigating Unit and Labour Department to investigate, suspend implicated officials, recover misappropriated funds, and restore accountable governance within seven days.
