# Eskom says it was forced to implement stage two load-shedding yesterday evening, remaining in effect until 5 am today. This is after it lost five generation units before the peak period. Eskom’s spokesperson, Daphne Mokwena, says they have made notable progress in their generation recovery efforts. She adds that in light of the ongoing system constraints, the public is urged to use electricity sparingly:
