# Spring Day stabbing victim Tshepang Nyathi has been laid to rest in Refilwe, east of Pretoria, following his killing during Spring Day celebrations. Police say Nyathi was allegedly stabbed after an altercation involving water-splashing. A 53-year-old man was arrested and charged with murder after community members detained him and handed him to police. The suspect abandoned his bail application, with the case postponed to 27 October. Nyathi’s family is calling for justice.
