# Soccer: Former Swiss defender Ramon Vega plans to challenge world governing body FIFA’s president, Gianni Infantino, when he stands for a fourth term in March. The 55-year-old retired in 2004 after 23 appearances for his country and 315 club matches. Vega has been working in finance since then. He also tried to challenge Infantino in 2022, but couldn’t get sufficient support to reach the ballot. He says the situation has evolved a lot since four years ago, and member associations are much more open to change.
