Soccer: SAFA elections in doubt as ARB approaches High Court for interdict

# Soccer: The African Restoration Bank launched an urgent High Court application to halt local governing body SAFA’s elective congress scheduled for 12 September. ARB president Vuyisile Charles Ndabeni wants the court to interdict the elections until governance concerns are resolved. The application seeks disclosure of SAFA’s constitution, amendments, electoral code and candidate lists, and questions whether amendments were properly adopted. Ndabeni says they seek business rescue if applicable, alternative governance relief and a forensic investigation as well.
