# Soccer: English Premier League side Nottingham Forest had sacked manager Nuno Espirito Santo after 21 months in charge and just three games into the new season. The Portuguese, who signed a new three-year deal in June, last month admitted that his relationship with owner Evangelos Marinakis had deteriorated. Nuno led Forest to a seventh-place finish in the Premier League last season, earning European League qualification for the first time in 30 years. Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou is a contender for the role.
