Veterans Michael Boxall and Kosta Barbarouses, and substitute Elijah Just scored goals for the hosts at Eden Park to send the All Whites to their third World Cup, taking place in Northern America. They previously played in the tournament in Spain in 1982, and South Africa in 2010, but missed out on the past three. This time, they dominated the Oceania qualifiers.
