# Soccer: Liverpool Football Club and the Premier League have expressed shock and devastation at the passing of Liverpool FC and Portuguese soccer star, Diogo Jota and his brother Andre. The brothers died in a car crash in Spain. The 28-year-old Diogo made 182 appearances for the Reds, scoring 65 goals and helping them secure the 2024/25 Premier League title. He also lifted the Carabao Cup in 2022 and twice won the Nations League with Portugal. The league says football has lost a champion who will be deeply missed.
