# Soccer: The head of Spain’s organising committee for World Cup 2030 has resigned after she was accused of meddling in the decision of which stadiums would host matches. A local newspaper reported Maria Tato altered the ratings for potential venues in favour of Anoeta in San Sebastian at the expense of Balaidos in Vigo. Vigo’s mayor, Abel Caballero, alleges the list was modified in June last year. Spain is co-hosting the tournament with Mexico and Portugal, with matches also being played in South America.
