Soccer: Conmebol wants 2030 World Cup expanded to 64 teams

# Sokker: South American governing body, Conmebol has proposed an expansion to 64 teams for the 2030 World Cup, hosted by Spain, Portugal and Morocco, with matches also being played in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. Next year’s tournament  in Northern America will be the first with 48 teams. Conmebol president Alejandro Dominguez believes a tournament with 64 teams will allow all countries to have the opportunity to live the world experience, saying that way no-one on the planet is left out.
