Soccer: Barca complains to UEFA over referee’s decision in Atletico match

# Soccer: Spanish giants Barcelona lodged a formal complaint with European governing body UEFA after the video assistant referee system wasn’t used during an incident in the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal against Atlético Madrid. Barca claims referee István Kovács should have sent Atlético’s Marc Pubill off for a handball and awarded them a penalty early in the second half. The VAR also didn’t interfere. Barca lost 2-0, with the second leg being played on Tuesday.
