# Soccer: The Turkish Federation has temporarily banned 102 top-tier club players over a widening betting scandal. Twenty-five players from the Super Lig and 77 from the second-tier first division have been suspended for terms ranging from 45 days to a year. More than one-thousand players have been referred to the federation’s Professional Disciplinary Board in the ongoing investigation. The probe has also revealed that 142 referees placed bets on more than one-thousand matches.
