# Suspended SAPS Deputy National Police Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya defence lawyer Advocate Amanda Nel has raised concerns about his detention at Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Centre. Nel told the Randburg Magistrate’s Court that Sibiya’s safety and consultations are a concern. Investigating officer Detective Nokukhanya Ndlovu disputed the concerns, saying Sibiya is being held separately for security reasons and that his detention conditions are appropriate.
