Strong winds have caused multiple truck overturns on routes including Riversdale, Hemel-en-Aarde, R43 at Theewaterskloof Bridge, and R44 between Arabella and Kleinmond. Spokeperson Maxine Bezuidenhout is advising motorists to postpone unnecessary trips and remain highly vigilant on open coastal bridges, where strong crosswinds may particularly impact lighter vehicles:
