# The Senqu Bridge in Lesotho has been officially inaugurated as part of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project phase two. Today’s ceremony was attended by King Letsie, president Cyril Ramaphosa and Lesotho prime minister Sam Matekane. The longest 825-metre bridge will keep road access open for communities in Mokhotlong as the Polihali reservoir fills. Built over three years, with mostly local labour, it features advanced engineering and monitoring systems and is expected to strengthen regional connectivity and economic activity.
