# Transnet will make a net payment of 4.3-billion-rand to Sasol before 30 June. This follows a settlement reached between the two companies ending years of legal battles. The settlement includes a High Court ruling from June 2024, which ordered Transnet to pay 3.9-billion-rand for pipeline tariff breaches. Another pending claim by Transnet against Sasol for 855-million-rand has also been resolved.
