# The South African Defence Force says weapons and equipment used by soldiers in the Democratic Republic of Congo are being returned. This follows the phased withdrawal after a ceasefire in the war-torn eastern DRC. SANDF’s Siphiwe Sangweni says the process is ongoing with around 80-percent of the equipment being moved from Goma to a transit camp in Tanzania:
