SAFTU rejects US ultimatums and threats against South Africa [SOUND]

# The South African Federation of Trade Unions is concerned about escalating threats by the US against South Africa following the government’s response to Washington’s so-called “five asks”. In June last year, the US demanded action concerning violence against farmers; the “Kill the Boer” chant; expropriation without compensation; aspects of Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment; and the country’s foreign-policy posture.
