# The South African Federation of Trade Unions is demanding that qualifying labour-broker workers at Môreson Pluimvee Boerdery in Brandfort, in the Free State, be absorbed into permanent employment. Workers are planning a picket at the town on Tuesday, calling for an end to what they describe as years of insecure employment. SAFTU’s Asive Dyani says workers are often kept on labour-broker contracts despite doing work essential to the company’s operations:
