SACP criticises government’s draft growth and inclusion strategy [SOUND]

# The South African Communist Party says that if the government adopts the growth and inclusion strategy without consultation, it would mark a new low in the surrender of national sovereignty. The strategy drafted by the ministers of Finance and Trade, Industry and Competition sets an ambitious plan to turbocharge economic growth to 3.5-percent and revive job creation. SACP’s Alex Mashilo says one of the strategy’s most glaring weaknesses is its blind faith in the failed neo-liberal macro-economic framework:
