# Rugby: England saw off a spirited France 35-17 in their Women’s Rugby World Cup semifinal in Bristol on Saturday. The hostesses are now into their seventh final in a row and bidding to win the World Cup for the first time since 2014. England was beaten in five of their last six by New Zealand and will now face second-ranked Canada in next Saturday’s final in front of an already sold-out Twickenham crowd of 82-thousand. The Canadians ended double-defending champions New Zealand’s 11-year unbeaten run at the World Cup with a superb 34-19 win in Friday’s first semifinal in Bristol.
