# Rugby: The Bulls took another step closer to a home semifinal as they smashed Welsh side Cardiff 45-21 at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday, thanks to a powerful forwards performance and a masterclass at the back from Willie le Roux. Le Roux stepped in as playmaker and assisted in three of the Bulls’ tries, after an injured Johan Goosen limped off the field. Harold Vorster, Wilco Louw, Canan Moodie and Cameron Hanekom each scored a try for the Bulls with Sebastian de Klerk adding two. Keagan Johannes converted five of the tries with Johan Goosen adding another conversion as well as a penalty.
