Rugby: British and Irish Lions have a scare against First Nations and Pasifika in Melbourne

# Rugby: An inconsistent British and Irish Lions survived a ferocious battle to stretch their unbeaten streak to seven matches with a narrow 24-19 win against an aggressive First Nations and Pasifika XV. Owen Farrell showed his experience to lead the visitors in Melbourne against a team marshalled by veteran Wallaby Kurtley Beale. The Lions scored four tries to the three of the hosts. Many of the 23 picked for the visitors are outsiders for a place in the squad for Saturday’s second Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
