# Fire and rescue crews from Mitchells Plain, Bellville and the Incident Management Team in Cape Town were dispatched to Maanskynkop Street after several houses sustained damage due to strong winds. Spokesperson Jermaine Carelse says crews found several houses’ roofs were blown off. He says emergency personnel remain on scene to monitor the situation and assess further damage:
