Ramaphosa to take action following KZN Police Commissioner’s damning allegations

# President Cyril Ramaphosa says statements made by KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, are of grave national security concern, and are receiving the highest priority attention. During a media briefing on Sunday, Mkhwanazi accused Police minister Senzo Mchunu of interfering in investigations and having ulterior motives in disbanding the political killings task team. Ramaphosa says it is vital that the integrity of the country’s security services is safeguarded. He adds that he will outline the actions to be taken on this matter when he returns from Brazil.
