# President Cyril Ramaphosa has declared that former deputy president David Mabuza will be honoured with a state funeral, Category 2, in Mpumalanga on Saturday. The 64-year-old passed away in a Johannesburg hospital after a short illness last week. The president has also declared a period of mourning, which will be observed from today until Saturday evening.
