# President Cyril Ramaphosa has wished the 2025 matric class all the best as they begin the National Senior Certificate examinations today, saying this is a moment for the learners to shine. Approximately 900-thousand candidates are expected to write the NSC exams, and among them, 766-thousand are full-time learners and 137-thousand are part-time candidates.
