# Limpopo Transport and Community Safety has confirmed that the R524 road near Louis Trichardt has reopened following a head-on collision that killed five people. Five vehicles, including a SAPS vehicle, were involved. Two people who were injured, one critically and another seriously, were taken to hospital. Investigations continue. MEC Nakedi Kekana’s spokesperson, Dali Tshifhiwa, has urged motorists to exercise caution, avoid speeding, and ensure vehicles are roadworthy:
