# The Public Servants Association has welcomed the South African Revenue Service’s move to offer a one-time lifeline to taxpayers burdened by debt. The long-term outstanding debt linked to taxpayers represented by registered tax practitioners is more than 96-billion-rand. This relief is only extended to undisputed tax debt. PSA’s Claude Naicker says Sars must ensure that the implementation of this lifeline is transparent, accessible, and inclusive:
