# The Public Servants Association has welcomed the Independent Police Investigative Directorate’s decision to withdraw a letter seeking KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi’s response to anonymous allegations. The complaint accused him of shielding a drug-dealing prison official. Mkhwanazi has dismissed the claims, calling them a smear campaign.
