PSA urges Industrialisation Summit in 60 days to address North West unemployment

# The Public Servants Association has called for an Industrialisation Summit in 60 days to address the North West unemployment crisis. In a statement, the association raised concern over North West’s unemployment with Statistics South Africa reporting a 40.1-percent official rate and 54.7-percent expanded rate, leaving over 1.5-million jobless. The province faces economic collapse across mining, agriculture, manufacturing, and tourism, while public service vacancies remain unfilled. The PSA demands immediate filling of funded posts and private sector cooperation.
