# An instructor from the South African Police Service Training Academy in Tshwane has been granted eight-thousand-rand bail on charges of allegedly raping a trainee in May and sexually assaulting another in March. The instructor appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court today, with the case postponed to 9 September. Independent Police Investigative Directorate spokesperson Lizzy Suping says the accused allegedly threatened the trainee with punishment if she didn’t comply:
