# Eskom has confirmed that the power system remains stable and resilient, with Kusile Unit 1 officially back online after repairs. The unit will add 800-megawatts to the grid once fully ramped up, contributing to a total output of four-thousand-800-megawatts. Eskom spokesperson Daphne Mokoena says emergency reserves are ready for winter peaks and an additional two-thousand-930-megawatts expected by Monday’s evening peak:
