# The Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union is hosting its National Gender Forum from today at the Holiday Inn in Rosebank, Johannesburg. The two day event brings together POPCRU’s leadership and allies to promote gender equality and inclusion, honoring gender activists, celebrating graduates of the 2023 Women Development Cohort. The forum is also addressing key issues such as gender-based violence, LGBTQI+ workers’ rights, and feminist leadership in unions.
