# Acting national police commissioner Puleng Dimpane says police will not tolerate lawlessness. This follows yesterday’s violent protests against illegal foreign nationals in Soweto and Durban that saw 24 vehicles being torched and shops looted. Dimpane says those responsible will be identified, investigated and arrested where sufficient evidence exists. She warns anyone who breaks the law will be dealt with decisively, without fear or favour:
