Police arrest suspected mastermind in DA councillor candidate Dyokwe’s murder [SOUND]

# Police have arrested a 37-year-old man believed to be the mastermind behind the murder of DA councillor candidate Sinovuyo Dyokwe. She was shot dead last month after voter registration activities in Dunoon, Cape Town. Investigators believe Dyokwe was targeted after refusing to continue paying extortion money. Police spokesperson Andrè Traut say the suspect was arrested yesterday during a joint intelligence-driven operation in Parklands after allegedly evading capture.
