# The City of Tshwane will shut down power to Wapadrand and Mooikloof Substations today from 9am to 1pm. The city’s spokesperson, Lindela Mashigo, says this forms part of the Watloo–Njala transmission line upgrade to stabilise electricity supply to the eastern grid. He says technicians will connect new infrastructure, test switching systems and install bridge pieces during the four hour maintenance project:
