Parliament’s Justice committee concerned about the Madlanga Commission delays

# Parliament’s portfolio committee on Justice and Constitutional Development says it is concerned with the delay in the proceedings of the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry. The commission is tasked with investigating allegations of criminality, political interference, and corruption in the criminal justice system. Procurement delays have forced the commission to postpone its hearings, initially scheduled for 1st September. The commission says it is concerning that the delay seems to be due to public servants not executing their responsibilities.
