# Fifty-three-percent of voters who backed US president Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election do not want the country to join in Israel’s conflict with Iran. This is according to a new Economist/YouGov poll. The poll also found that 63-percent of Trump voters said America should engage in negotiations with Iran over its nuclear programme, while just 18-percent said the US should not. This comes as Trump has indicated that he has not yet made a final decision on whether America would get involved in the conflict.
