# The Inter-Ministerial Committee on migration says more than 15-thousand Malawian nationals have been processed for repatriation as part of an ongoing government drive to speed up returns. Briefing the media ahead of the 30 June protests, committee chairperson Mmamoloko Kubayi said the process includes verification and coordination with relevant authorities, with some individuals already repatriated while others are still being processed at temporary centres:
