# Following the popular Fine Free Week during the July school holidays, the City of Cape Town libraries have announced that ten-thousand-712 items were returned, worth more than 1.3-million-rand. These include books, audiobooks, magazines, DVDs and CDs. Mayoral committee member for Community Services and Health, Francine Higham, says those patrons who returned items can start the new term with a new borrowing chapter:
