# The Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse says Eskom’s process to cut electricity to the City of Johannesburg is still active despite reports that a settlement had been reached. The power utility has confirmed it’s continuing with its legal process over unpaid debt and has already disconnected some streetlights, with plans to proceed with possible wider cuts in July.
