# The High Court in Pretoria has struck from the roll an urgent application by Mpumalanga taxi boss Oupa Sindane to stop the Madlanga Commission from hearing his evidence. Sindane challenged WhatsApp messages while his lawyer sought a postponement, citing a medical certificate and cultural seclusion. Commission chairperson Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga ordered evidence leader advocate Matthew Chaskalson to proceed with placing evidence on record.
