# The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa says it will be balloting its members to determine whether it will be going ahead with a strike at Gautrain. The union has rejected the 4.2-percent wage increase offered by Bombela Operating Company, which manages the Gautrain. Numsa’s national spokesperson, Phakamile Hlubi-Majola, says they are demanding a seven-percent increase across the board, as well as an increase in the housing and transport allowance:
