# The National Prosecuting Authority’s Asset Forfeiture Unit has secured a 144-million-rand forfeiture order from the High Court in Pretoria to recover land stolen from the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform. The order follows a Special Investigating Unit probe with the Hawks. The NPA’s Lumka Mahanjana says several properties, including the 130-million-rand Randjesfontein farm, as well as land in Hurlingham and Hyde Park, were fraudulently transferred into private ownership:
