# Suspended Sedibeng deputy district police commissioner Abraham Nkhwashu has denied allegations that he interfered in the bail proceedings of police officer Michael Pule Tau. Testifying before the Madlanga commission in Pretoria, Nkhwashu said he was approached by suspected crime cartel boss Katiso “KT” Molefe, who allegedly tried to persuade him to help secure bail for Tau. He further denied claims that he removed his number plates when visiting Molefe in jail:
