# Please Call Me inventor Nkosana Makate is challenging a 13-million-rand legal costs order following his Constitutional Court loss to Vodacom. The costs relate to a single day’s arguments after the apex court ruled in Vodacom’s favour and referred the case back to the Supreme Court of Appeal. Makate calls the order unfair and excessive, citing his defence against two dismissed applications. The dispute forms part of a long-running billion-rand compensation battle over the innovation.
# Rugby: Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus says he has full confidence in prop Zachary Porthen. The 21-year-old is set to make his debut for South Africa in Saturday’s Test against Japan at Wembley in London. The former SA Under-20 captain has only played in five senior matches for the Stormers, four off the bench and one starting. Erasmus says Porthen will be nervous, but physically he’ll be up for it:

The 23-year-old shared her excitement on social media, saying she has been performing on other stages, but now she gets her own. The tour will kick off in Tokyo, Japan, on November 11, followed by performances in Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, India, and Saudi Arabia before ending in the United Arab Emirates on December 13.
