# One person has died and four others are in critical condition following a head-on collision between a minibus taxi and a bakkie outside Polokwane towards Burgersfort in Limpopo. Emergency services remain on the scene as traffic builds up. The latest crash brings Limpopo’s road fatalities to eight in recent days. Authorities have warned motorists of delays and urged caution, especially as traffic volumes increase with travelers and pilgrims heading towards Moria this weekend.
Meanwhile, Gauteng Traffic Police have urged that all road users comply with safety regulations and avoid overloading vehicles this Easter period. Authorities warn that speeding, reckless driving, and overloading increase crash risks. Law enforcement will intensify operations on major routes across the province, with offenders facing fines or vehicle impoundment. Spokesperson Sello Maremane urges motorists to drive safely and responsibly:
# Parliament’s Justice Committee has granted Judges Mushtak Parker and Nana Makhubele an additional month to submit reasons why they should not be impeached. The Judicial Service Commission found both guilty of gross misconduct. Delays were due to communication issues and Makhubele’s hospitalisation. Parker faces allegations of dishonesty and financial impropriety, while Makhubele is accused of misconduct linked to PRASA. Parliament will consider their submissions as part of a process requiring a two-thirds majority for removal.

The club ascribes the loss in part to increased operating costs. Chelsea was last month fined 240-million-rand after admitting to breaching the league’s rules in relation to undisclosed payments made during the tenure of former owner Roman Abramovich.
# And finally: The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness encourages communities to focus on the strengths of children with autism. Marking World Autism Awareness Day, the department says with early support, therapy, and inclusive care, autistic children can thrive in school, hobbies, and future careers. Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital’s Sashmi Moodley says many children with autism have strong abilities such as creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills:
