# Sizekhaya Holdings, South Africa’s incoming National Lottery operator, plans to reduce the number of lotto draws while increasing jackpot sizes. Chairman Moses Tembe says the company also aims to reintroduce scratchcards and emphasise sports pool betting. Tembe expressed gratitude for being awarded the eight-year licence, stating that the lottery can be a powerful force for good when run effectively. Sizekhaya has pledged to hand over its lottery systems to the government at the end of its tenure, enabling future in-house operations.
