# Netball: England will again host the World Cup in 2031 – the fourth time the tournament will be held in the country. It will take place in Manchester’s indoor arena after Liverpool staged the previous tournament in England in 2019. Eastbourne hosted in 1963 and Birmingham the 1995 edition. World Netball’s president, Liz Nicholl, says the country submitted a very strong bid and the governing body is confident it will again host a thrilling international event. Next year’s World Cup will be played in Sydney, Australia.
